Mighty Ape is hosting its own fighting game tournament in Auckland

If you are good at fighting games such as Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V, you may want to enter a new tournament being hosted by Mighty Ape.

Mighty Ape announced that this is its first ever fighting game tournament and it will feature two games. Both a Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V tournament will be held next month for Kiwi gamers.

Entry fee is $5 each for both the Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V tournaments. It will be held on December 9th at the Megaweb Internet Cafe. The address for the place is F1/51 Hobson Street, Auckland, New Zealand.

You will have to bring your own controller or arcade fight stick. You can also bring your own headphones, although this is only optional.

If you want to register for the tournament, you can do so now by clicking here. You need to put down your gamertag, name and email address. You have until December 5th to register. Once registered, more details will be emailed to the participants.

A lot of prizes will be given out including a $250 pot bonus plus other goodies. Other prizes include the likes of a Logitech G433 Headset, Red Bull energy drinks, Pop Vinyls and more.

If you want to watch the event, you can either go to the Megaweb Internet Cafe or it will be streamed on the Mighty Ape Twitch channel.
