FYI, this story is more than a year old

Samsung Electronics New Zealand has announced a new Fortnite style competition allowing the winner to own a new Samsung Galaxy Note9.  To celebrate the Android release of Fortnite, Samsung has announced the Dropzone 9 competition as one lucky winner gets the chance to own the Samsung Galaxy Note9 device that's coming out later this week.  The device itself has been hidden somewhere in New Zealand and the first person that is able to find its location will actually get to win it. Clues for the device's whereabouts will be released daily via the Samsung Facebook page and on The Edge radio station.  Much like Fortnite itself, the map will get smaller and smaller as the days go by giving players a better chance of locating the elusive Samsung Galaxy Note9.  The final clue will be posted on midday at Friday August 24th. After that, the first person that finds it will be one of the first people in New Zealand to own the Samsung Galaxy Note9.  The Samsung Galaxy Note9 itself will be available for general sale on August 24th and it will cost you $1699 NZD for the 128GB model and $1999 NZD for the 512GB model. The device will be available on 2Degrees, Spark and Vodafone and comes in a variety of colours.  You can click here to know more details about the Samsung Galaxy Note9. While more clues will be posted on the official Samsung Facebook page.
